Help

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What is Jumico?

A data eSIM for travel. Install it once and, for each trip, buy a pass by days for your destination. It loads onto the same eSIM: nothing new to install.

When does my pass start?

When you start using data at your destination. You can also pick a start date at checkout or activate it from My Jumico. Days are counted as 24 hours from when it starts.

When should I install it?

Before you travel, on Wi-Fi. You'll get an email with the installation: on iPhone it's one tap, on other phones you scan a code. It takes a minute.

What do I do when I land?

Turn on Data Roaming for Jumico and choose Jumico as your data line. Your phone connects to a local network on its own.

Do I still get calls and WhatsApp on my number?

Yes. Jumico is data only: your usual number stays on your phone for calls and texts, and WhatsApp works as usual over your Jumico data.

Is the data really unlimited?

Yes. In rare cases, and to keep the network stable, speed may be temporarily reduced for the rest of the day. It goes back to normal the next day. Read the fair use policy.

Can I add days if my trip gets longer?

Yes, from My Jumico, while your pass is active or scheduled. The days are added to the end of your pass.

What happens to my eSIM after the trip?

It stays installed and paused. Don't delete it: on your next trip, just buy a new pass and use it again.

I deleted my eSIM or changed phones. What now?

Write to us. We'll prepare a new Jumico for your phone and keep your passes.

Does it work if I visit several countries?

Yes, within the countries of your pass. For example, the Europe pass works in all its countries with nothing to do when you cross a border.

Can I get a refund?

If you haven't installed your Jumico yet and the pass hasn't started, we refund you in full. If it already started, write to us and we'll review it case by case.
